There is no catch right now. Landlords pay a small monthly subscription to run their properties on Prophandld, similar to any small-business software. That is where the business makes money, not from contractors. It is currently free for contractors as part of a pilot program; if that ever changes, you get at least 60 days' written notice before any fee applies to you, and it never applies retroactively to work you have already bid, scheduled, or completed.
